BUGGERING HELL, YES! Static-X, playing at my local! I can hardly believe my pocking eyes. Obviously I’m going.

Your document was well made but you eggarrate on how bad most modern fansubs are. Most fansubs I've seen only use translation notes to explain some reference in conversation that only make sense to the japanese. Sometimes they are necassy. For example in ryoko's case file episode 7, the japanese private police were introduced. They were refered to by the character by theirjapanese initials, NPP. The translators used the initials JPP< but had to provide a note explaining why because the characters saying NPP while the subs say JPP wwould be akward and confuse the viewers.

As for honorics, modern anime fans love me which is why they are used.
