I mean, come on...
The Daleks in the new series of Doctor Who looked cool, but we didn't see anyone die! Not really. Here's the effect I reckon a Dalek gun would actually have on people.
Bonus points go to anyone who spots the retro gaming reference.

I'm most impressed by Gackt's 700th birthday celebrations (despite him looking exactly the same as he always does, of course) and the fact you couldn't get by without mentioning Skid Row at least once!

Other than that, I wish I was as patient at drawing backgrounds as you are. Perhaps I'll attempt to feign interest in backgrounds one day! One day!!

Well, 500 odd years from now Skid Row will have been cryogenically thawed out. By then, music will be a series of buzzing noises and fish-like warblings, so their return will be not a moment too soon.
I named the picture after a Gackt song as well!

I've seen backgrounds on a lot of your pictures though, so clearly you can draw them! Oh, and now I've gotten off my ass a drawn something, you have to as well. Draw more, dammit!

I am, I am! It's just taking me a long time to finish it because I'm in the last week of the semester and I'm overloaded with Japanese stories about clever monks and people with cans of milk to translate. Oh crap but that's a thought - can't take my pc or tablet home with me for xmas so I won't get it finished any time soon! You'll just have to be excited until mid-January.

Heh heh... well, I'll look forward to it then. Maybe you could draw a wise Japanese monk drinking a can of milk? Or even better: two people screwing whilst a skeleton or ghost observes from the cupboard. Maybe I should go to bed now.
