OtaKing's New Year challenge! - Everybody draw a Dalek picture!
Daleks with 5-tone shading? Good lord! As if they weren't unstoppable already! Yo ho ho and a merry Christmas bottle of advocaat! I *think* this is done now... though I may adjust it over the next couple of days... add more background haze in, etc. It might be too confusing to look at right now. I'm going to print this out and send it to Nick Briggs, the current voice of the Daleks in the TV show and drama CDs, and director of the Dalek Empire CD series. But yeah! It's my hero, the Dalek Supreme. He's been in Doctor Who since the 60s, only to be killed off in the 1988 story Remembrance of the Daleks. With a funky black and silver casing, he is one fashionable dude. The girl with him obviously doen't get much sun, judging by her complexion. Well, I guess there isn't much sun on Skaro, the Dalek home planet. Especially not after 1988, since the Doctor blew it up. But anyway! As you can see, she's not dressed for fighting! Heh heh. But she more than makes up for it by having a modified Dalek gun, and some goggles which DO NOTHING. They sparkle nicely though. I didn't mention the word "EXTERMINATE!" once! PS - If anyone wants to cosplay as this girl, feel free to send photos to me for..er... 'judging.' Yes. |
